~ BURT'S PUMPKIN FARM!! Absolute favorite place to go during this time of year. The kids enjoyed it so much! Running, laughing, playing & enjoying the sunset at Amicalola Falls. Great Weekend! ~

~ Apple picking at R&A Orchards! Delicious apples, apple cider, fried apple pies, apple cider slushy! Kids (and parents) had a GREAT time! We picked apples, ran through the orchards & had a picnic all before our next destination! (Picked these apples: Rome, Granny Smith, Golden Delicious and several more.) ~

~ Norcross Art Festival ~

Went to the Norcross Art Festival today with my Girly-Girl! She made a friend pretty quickly! (You should see all the doggie pictures we took...LOL!) Had only a small amount of time to see a few artist friends but will be going back tomorrow with the rest of the family! Yipee!

The festival is full of unique and eclectic finds. We took over 100 pictures of the artists and their amazing works of art. SO much creativity and passion for ALL-THINGS ARTSY!

FABULOUS afternoon! LOVE this Arts Festival! Great job City of Norcross! It's even better than last year! Wooo Whooo!

~ House Beautiful Design Institute Event ~

Today I spent the day with some of the Divas and also ran into 2 other friends while at the House Beautiful Design Institute (located @ ADAC). I had the absolute pleasure of briefly speaking with the 3 Keynote Speakers for this event. Newell Turner (House Beautiful Editor in Chief), Judi Roaman (President, J. Roaman, Inc. -NY) "THE ACCESORATOR!", and Darius Monsef, IV (CEO of CHORAom, Inc. and the creator of COLOURlovers.com).

The morning and afternoon programs were inspiring and educational. I loved seeing all the beautiful fabrics, furniture & accessories. We enjoyed a day filled with color, texture & learning how "every pattern tells a story".

Loved this quote: "Decorating is like a big, warm hug!"

Also enjoyed this from Darius Monsef's presentation about his website, COLOURlovers.com: "This is the Facebook of COLOR for the PIGMENT OBSESSED!" You'll love this website!
